Craving sugar… Like before. Like normal…
Having a hard time with it.
I’ve been pretty ok for most of the past 40 or so days but it’s kicking in again.
I”m not sure why. I know I had a double cheat day after Spartan and I was really craving it then.
I’m not needing to go crazy town. I’m actually craving blue Monster & Quest bars, neither of which are a significant source of carbs.
Slow Carb Diet
I’ve been looking at SCD sites seeing if there is a way to make it ok for me to add Quest bars back. And Monster.
I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not. I’m guessing probably not.
With the SCD, it’s not like I’m in ketosis but I know there are artificial sweeteners that provoke responses similar to sugar, even if they don’t have any calories.
Repercussions
I also wonder if I allow myself these that I will be feeding my sweet tooth and make it harder and harder to resist ongoing.
I did have a blue Monster today.
And I had a Quest bar tonight (it was a double chocolate chunk one without Sucralose which I’ve read can raise blood sugar).
Not sure if I’m leading myself down a bad path. :/
